Picking a Class

Hello adventurers of all shapes and sizes! Welcome to my guide and thank you so much for checking out the fifth episode in our character creation series. Today we’re gonna be taking a look at the meat and potatoes of your character picking a class which is basically your adventuring profession for all in terms of purposes. Now let’s take a quick look at exactly what the importance is.

Importance of Classes:

So your class does a ton of stuff for you as you might imagine. Immediately upon picking it offer some perception bonus gives you your saving throws, your training is in them. Gives you some training in skills, attacks, defenses, outlies your class dc, your key ability and your hit points.

So you get hit points from two main areas namely your ancestry and then your class and then based on whatever your class do get hit points every level and it kind of makes those initial starting hit points less important as you level up because your your main contributing source is certainly gonna be your class.

There is a decent amount of classes in pathfinder 2e already there are going to be adding more and of course we will be reviewing each individual class a little bit later on. I think you’re really looking forward to that by the way it should be super exciting. I really like the classes they went with, i really like how they’re set up.

A lot of people are complaining about the champion in forums right now. But you know until 5E roll a round good nature paladins wore the names anyway whatever we will be talking about that when we discuss about the champions. But in any case if you think that’s all of its important to youe class you’ll be wrong there’s a one more thing i wanna quickly go over here and that is the kind of outline for the leveling.

Leveling

So based on your level you’re gonna get various class features from level one all the way up to level twenty. There’s summarize in this neat little list so this is something you’re gonna wanna at least read over when you deciding on how you picking the class. It kind of provides a relatively good summary of how each class is setup.

Where i really like above what paizo did is every level offers you something. Which is super great, you don’t have levels where nothing happens i think that’s a total kind of almost kicking the shots really it just kind of sucks. But paizo did a really good job making as each level has significance. As long something you do everytime you level i think that is fine.

Conclusion

Now let me know down beneath what you think of your favorite class is going to be or what new class is more excited for or why class you wish they had. That being said, i hope you all have a great day and as always happy adventuring everyone.
